lg-flex-event-11What do you think of the LG G Flex smartphone? We have already reviewed it and have come away pretty impressed, but this curvy device might have more than meets the eye, too. Apparently, word has leaked out that this particular smartphone will soon come with 4K video support after one installs the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat update. This particular rumor does have some pretty solid backing, too, thanks to the existence of a User Agent profile that points in the direction of the 6” smartphone featuring 2160p video capability. Apart from that, the anonymous source of PhoneArena also did mention that the curvy LG G Flex will no longer offer 120fps slow motion video after this particular update is applied.

It was also not too long ago that a mod from an XDA member enabled an LG G2 which ran on stock Android 4.4 KitKat to be able to record 4K video as well a in 120fps slow motion. If this rumor were to pan out to be true, then the 4K video recording capability would be just “there” once you have installed the Android 4.4 KitKat update. Talk about a painless and seamless transition, yes? This would certainly show that the LG G Flex has plenty of mileage left in its proverbial legs.
