lumia-630According an earlier rumor, it was suggested that Nokia could be unveiling a couple of new phones at the Microsoft BUILD conference which is taking place on the 2nd of April. The phones in question are the Nokia Lumia 630 and the Lumia 930, but now according to a new rumor, it seems that the Lumia 930 might not be announced at BUILD after all.

This is according to the folks at NokiaPowerUser who claims that their sources have told them that this is because the Lumia 930 is simply not ready for unveiling yet. Perhaps they’re still testing the device or there might be production difficulties, but either way there is a chance the Lumia 930 will be a no-show at the event.

We guess this sort of makes sense since the Lumia 630 has been consistently leaked over the past couple of months, while there has not been any word regarding the Lumia 930. Of course it is possible that Nokia is being very secretive with the Lumia 930, but either way we guess we’ll just have to wait until BUILD to find out.

On the upside, NPU’s source also claims that the Developer Preview of Windows Phone 8.1 will be released on the 8th of April and that the consumer version should see a release early May, so that’s something to look forward to. All the details will be revealed at BUILD so do check back with us then for the details.
