miworld-pcsIn today’s extremely mature market that is full of small PC-like machines that carry ARM-based processors underneath the hood, it can be very challenging to pick a winner from the crowd. Of course, most of these devices tend to have the hardware specifications of a cheap tablet, and the Mi World Portable Computing System happens to be such a computer which is tiny enough to fit into the palm of your hand, albeit having innards that can be compared to an existing high-end smartphone.

The Mi World Portable Computing System’s main purpose of existence is to function as a portable computer, a hot spot when required, a media server, or even a gaming device, where it will play nice with your current computers, tablets or other devices. To have it function as a replacement, too, is a tempting idea, and the Mi World Portable Computing System is currently on an Indiegogo campaign where you will need to pledge $599 should you share a similar vision to own one in the future.

As for its hardware specifications, one would be able to see a 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor underneath the hood that is accompanied by 2GB RAM, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, USB 3.0, micro HDMI output, and up to 30 hours of battery life, in addition to a 64GB SSD for storage purposes.
