While Microsoft enjoyed great success with the Halo franchise, safe to say that it is getting a bit old. It doesn’t mean that it’s no longer good, but it is old. Kind of like Blizzard’s World of Warcraft where despite the game being played by millions, its popularity is starting to wane in favor of newer titles.

That being said, many believe that the upcoming Titanfall game for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Xbox One console along with PC has the potential to eclipse Halo, but we guess we will have to play it for ourselves in order to see if that is true. In the meantime gamers who are wondering what all the fuss is about can check out the recently released official gameplay trailer above.

Titanfall is currently scheduled for a release on the 11th of March and will be available exclusively to Microsoft. In fact Microsoft has taken its exclusivity so seriously that they even updated their Xbox One controller to be less twitchy at the request of the developers.

The game will make its way onto the Xbox 360, the Xbox One, and the PC, although in the case of the PC it will take up as much as 48GB to install it, and gamers looking to download the installer can look forward to a whopping 21GB download. Xbox One gamers on the other hand can expect an installation of less than 20GB, which we reckon is still pretty significant anyway.

In any case if you have a couple of minutes to spare, perhaps this is one gameplay trailer that you will want to check out.
