Rovio has been milking the Angry Birds franchise for a very long time now and it is understandable why. After all customers just keep buying the new games whenever they are released, so why would Rovio want to put an end to that, right?

So far we have seen Rovio attempt to break out from the typical Angry Birds setup through titles such as Bad Piggies and Angry Birds Go! which is a kart game featuring characters from the Angry Birds franchise. Now it looks like Rovio has a new Angry Birds game up their sleeve thanks to a teaser video Rovio has posted on YouTube (video above).

The teaser video does not tell us much except that we might expect something medieval, thanks to the suit of armored seen in the video. Also according to the description of the video, the game will be launching in Australia, Canada, and New Zealand as far as soft launches are concerned (similar to what they did with Angry Birds Go!), with other countries to follow shortly after.

There are no specifics regarding launch dates or pricing, but given that Angry Birds Go! adopted the free-to-play model, we wouldn’t be surprised if this upcoming title would adopt that same model as well. However there were many who were critical of Rovio’s choice for Angry Birds Go! as it did get quite pricey, but we guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
