Samsung Russia’s Twitter account has announced that the company is gearing up to launch a new “high-class” device yesterday. The announcement reads that “Such a thing hasn’t happened before!,” its certainly meant to spark our curiosity. It isn’t immediately clear what this new device is going to be, the teaser itself has just one subtle hint that doesn’t reveal anything major about the device itself.
There have been countless rumors for months on end about Samsung working on a “premium” range of smartphones. Apparently the entire lineup would shun plastic in favor of metal, even a premium variant of Galaxy S5 was rumored at one point. If I were to speculate, it doesn’t seem like that lineup is going to be announced tomorrow. The job of building hype for it wouldn’t presumably be left to a regional arm of the company, that too just a day before the actual announcement.
The only clue provided by the invite is the five color dots above the date. Whatever device ends up being announced tomorrow, its probably going to be offered in these colors, which appear to be turquoise, pink, white, brown and black. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled tomorrow to see what exactly is this “high-class” device that Samsung is talking about.
