sony-a6000-camera-09If there’s one thing about pre-order is that you’d have to wait for the product to be released at its given date and time before you are able to get your hands on it. Sure, you might have secured the product ahead of everyone else but the waiting period is probably pretty excruciating, no?

Well the good news for those who pre-ordered the Sony A6000 camera in the US is that according to the rumors, those who pre-ordered the camera when it was first announced can look forward to an early shipment as well.

Earlier we had reported that the A6000 had begun shipping to parts of Europe and Asia ahead of its intended release but according to Sony US’ website at that time, the camera is pegged for a release on the 15th of April. Retailers like Amazon and BHPhoto have it set for the 20th and 23rd of April respectively.

According to the rumor, those in the US can look forward to the Sony A6000 beginning shipment as early as next week which is about a week ahead of its original release date. We have no way of confirming if this rumor is true, so until you actually receive the email that informs you that your shipment has been sent out for delivery, we suggest you not get your hopes up just yet.
