There is good news for people looking to pick up a new tablet from Verizon. Its tablet lineup now includes a new model. The carrier today announced Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet. It was rumored a couple of weeks back that the carrier is going to launch this tablet soon. That rumor has turned out to be true. An official product page for Verizon Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 LTE has now gone up.

The tablet won’t appeal to customers who despise carrier branding. It has ample amounts of Verizon branding, even if the tablet is purchased without a contract. Verizon is selling the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition for $599 with a two year contract. Customers not looking to shackle themselves to the carrier have an alternative. Verizon’s new tablet can be bought outright, without a service contract, for just $100 more, at $699.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 features a 10.1 inch HD display. It also has a 2.3Ghz quadcore processor beating under the hood, ensuring that customers have ample power for multitasking capabilities and much, much more. Its also compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE network, so mobile network is taken care of, provided you’re willing to pay for the service. Stylus lovers won’t miss the new S Pen tucked into the tablet.
