Nikon-1-J4-mirrorless-cameraBack in March, Nikon announced their latest mirrorless camera in the form of the Nikon 1 V3. However it seems that the Nikon 1 V3 is not the only mirrorless camera Nikon has up their sleeves. This is thanks to recent rumors and now a recent photo leak of the upcoming Nikon 1 J4 that is rumored to debut next week.

Naturally Nikon has not confirmed any of this so take it with a grain of salt for now, although given that Nikon’s mirrorless cameras do come in the V and J variety, we guess an update to its J-lineup is expected.

According to the rumored specs, the Nikon 1 J4 will pack an 18MP image sensor. It will also feature an ISO-range of 160-6,400 and can be extended to 12,800 for those want some help in low-light environments, although we cannot promise you that it will be noise free. The camera will also pack a 3-inch LCD and will be able to capture video at Full HD resolution at 60fps.

Interestingly enough the rumors also suggest that the Nikon 1 J4 will come with a new battery model, the EN-EL22 which hopefully will be an upgrade over its predecessor with longer battery life and the ability to capture more shots/videos. In any case we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an announcement so do check back with us next week for the details.
