amazon-wearable-technology-storeIts no secret that the market is warming up to wearable devices. Customers already have a lot of devices to choose from, big companies and crowdfunded startups alike are after their money. In a bid to make it easier for its customers to find and purchase wearable devices Amazon today announced the launch of a new online Wearable Technology store.

Products listed on this new online store include smartwatches, activity trackers, wearable cameras and more from top brands like Samsung, Jawbone and GoPro. It also has products from emerging brands like Basis and Misfit, including devices listed as coming soon from brands like Bionym and Narrative.

In order to teach customers about wearable technology the new Amazon online store also features a “Learning Center,” which includes detailed buying guides and product videos. They provide information about device compatibility, comparisons and use-case suggestions. Customers will also have an “Editor’s Corner” at their disposal which will contain information like news from the wearable technology industry, devices reviews and more.

The store also includes the same shipping tools that customers are already accustomed to on Amazon. This includes free two day shipping with Amazon Prime, personalized product recommendations, customers reviews, editorial reviews and more. Amazon’s new store can be accessed at www.amazon.com/wearabletechnology.
