g6w2hw6.0_cinema_960.0Gamers are a pretty creative bunch and in the past, we’ve seen how some gamers have proposed to their partners by basing the proposal on the game that they played when they met, like World of Warcraft, Mario, and so on.

Well now we have a new proposal and this time it is a Skyrim-themed one. For those unfamiliar, players have the option to get married in Skyrim and it is through a special amulet called the Amulet of Mara. It basically unlocks more dialogue options, like the ability to marry other characters.

According to Sarah Briody (via Kotaku), the bridge-to-be, when her boyfriend first gave her the amulet, she did not seem to register its significance, but it was only after she put it on and he asked, “Is that an Amulet of Mara? I’m surprised someone like you isn’t spoken for,” that she was finally clued in as to what was going on.

For those wondering, this does have a happy ending as Briody did say yes, and for your information, her even got her an engagement ring to top things off. An engagement ring and an Amulet of Mara in a single run, not too shabby, huh? So, does this proposal give some of our gamer readers an idea of how they should propose to their partners in the future?
