tim-cook

Its safe to say that Apple CEO Tim Cook is a busy man. He’s tasked with running one of the biggest companies in the world that must meet its customers’ expectations with every product release. However, Cook still finds time in his schedule to do a bit of charity work. He is auctioning off the chance to have lunch with him at Apple’s HQ in the One Infinite Loop campus, located in Cupertino, California. This isn’t the first time that Cook has auctioned off a meeting with him.

You will need very deep pockets in order to get the opportunity to meet Tim Cook. Back in May 2013 he auctioned off a one-hour coffee meeting, the winning bid was $610,000. All proceeds went to the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.

Once again the auction is being conducted by CharityBuzz, a website that is often used by high profile personalities willing to give back. Estimated value of this auction is $100,000 and as of this writing the maximum bid was $50,000.

The winning bidder will be able to take a guest along as well. Cost of the meal will be included, though winning bidder and guest will have to arrange their transportation to One Infinite Loop themselves. That probably won’t be a problem for someone who can spend half a million dollars to meet Tim Cook.

Bidder and their guest will be subject to security screening. It may take up to one year after the auction closes to schedule the one hour lunch meeting with Tim Cook, who as I have mentioned before, is obviously a very busy man. Got the moolah? Bid here.
