injustice_mobile_01_thumbGood news gamers, if you downloaded Injustice: Gods Among Us on mobile, you might be interested to learn that Warner Bros. has recently released an update for the game that will bring a multiplayer feature to it. The game was released back in 2013 and this update is in celebration of the game turning one year ago.

Now before you get too excited, the multiplayer aspect isn’t what you think it is. It won’t be players going head to head in real time, but rather players assembling their own team of heroes and villains and pitting them against the other player’s team. The winning team will get Multiplayer Points and how you win is really how you customize your team, especially since it is essentially all about the AI and the team makeup at the end of the day.

Players will be able to watch replays of the match so they know how to better customize their teams in the future. There will be gear that can be earned based on your ranking. There is also a Weekly Leaderboard Season at at the end of each one, tiered rewards will be handed out to players based on their ranking.

At the moment the update for the iOS version of the game is available for download, but unfortunately for those who play the game on Android, you can expect the update to be released later in May.
