BkVXUJOIgAA3SMT_r1_c1Microsoft recently announced Windows Phone 8.1 and with the update, Microsoft will be bringing about a host of changes and new features to the platform, one of them being much rumored voice assistant feature, Cortana.

With the changes Microsoft has made, it certainly sounds like Windows Phone 8.1 is starting to catch up to the competition and if you were thinking about making the switch or thinking about upgrading your current Windows Phone handset, you might be interested to learn that Microsoft has recently announced a deal in which they will be knocking $100 off from the off-contract price tag of the Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, and the Lumia 928.

The offer, according to Microsoft’s website, will be valid from the 1st of April until the 7th of April, meaning that you guys still have a good three days left until the offer is over. As we mentioned above, this is for the off-contract price meaning that these are phones sold at retail price, but they will now be $100 cheaper thanks to the deal.

What this means is that if you wanted the Lumia 1020 (AT&T) or the Lumia 1520 (AT&T), they will be priced at $499 and $449 respectively. As for Verizon’s Lumia 928, the handset will be priced at $299. For the most part the deal does sound pretty good and it certainly makes them a lot more affordable especially if you don’t like to be tied to a contract, so if you’d like to place your order or learn more about the deal, hit up Microsoft’s website for the details.
