oneplus-one-teardown-1The OnePlus One smartphone was launched a week ago, where this particular smartphone intends to duke it out with the best of them out there where the high end market is concerned. Well, with its general availability expected later this coming June, those who are interested in picking one of these puppies up would definitely want to read up on just how easy (or difficult) it can be to tear this bad boy apart.

Just to recap, the OnePlus One is good value for money, especially when you take into consideration how it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, a 5.5” 1080p display, 3GB RAM, and a 3,100mAh battery, where you can choose from a 16GB capacity model for $299 a pop, or just fork out another $50 and you will end up with a 64GB model. It is basically a no-brainer then as to which particular model will be the more popular one among the two, considering the relative pittance that one pays in terms of its difference.

In a teardown of the upcoming OnePlus One, this particular smartphone gets disassembled, and along the way, its hardware components are exposed to the general public. Got to love the red colored battery which is a whole lot more jovial looking compared to the general black or grey shades that other phone batteries come in. It looks set to arrive in a variety of backplates, just like the Motorola Moto X. Do enjoy the photo gallery of the OnePlus One teardown below.
