Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo is slowly but surely making its mark in the Western market, where their latest Oppo Find 7a smartphone (which is touted to have opened up its pre-orders today) is now available for you to place a pre-order if you’re interested in an unlocked device – all for $499 a pop. This unlocked high end smartphone was specially designed to work not only in the US, but internationally to boot.
This particular smartphone’s pre-order is available only while stocks last, and at that price point, you would end up as the beneficiary of a spare battery, a 32GB microSD memory card, and an “Easy Cover” flip cover, now how about that?
As for the hardware specifications, we are pleased to say that the Oppo Find 7a does not leave you shortchanged, and neither should the device leave you lagging behind when it handles high quality video and graphics intensive apps. For starters, there will be a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, a 5.5” 1920 x 1080 pixel display, 2GB RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, accompanied by a 13MP shooter at the back, a 5MP camera in front, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a removable 2800mAh battery. Expect the US model to support GSM, LTE and HSPA+ networks.
