one-plus-design

No one would hold it against you if you haven’t heard of a company called by OnePlus. Started by an ex-Oppo executive, the company is set to unveil its first smartphone come April 23rd. OnePlus has kept the media machine going for a few months now by revealing tidbits of information about its smartphone, the OnePlus One. Even though most of the specifications have been confirmed that company hasn’t shown us what it actually looks like. An image discovered in OnePlus forums might offer a hint of the design.

The image simply shows a sketch of what is presumably the OnePlus One pinned to a board. Marketing materials also appear to be pinned to the same board. There’s not much one can get from this sketch, but it appears that the smartphone may have ultra slim bezels and an overall slim profile.

Recently the company’s CEO revealed that the OnePlus One was initially destined to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor but they went for the Snapdragon 801 instead. Not just any 801, the comapny went for 8974AC which is clocked at 2.5GHz. The processor will be coupled with 3GB of RAM, ultimately making it one of the best hardware packages on the market that would be capable to rival almost all of the latest Android flagships.

OnePlus has kept its smartphone tightly under wraps, nothing design-related has leaked online so we’re quite anxious to see what it has come up with. Fortunately April 23rd isn’t too far off.
