rfdxA58_sm_1_0While Titanfall for the PC and the Xbox One have been getting quite a bit of attention, there has not been much said about the Xbox 360 version. Previously some have speculated that this is because the Xbox 360 version isn’t quite as exciting in terms of graphics due to the older hardware.

In fact rumors have suggested that the game would run at a sub-720p resolution at 30fps, which while playable, isn’t exactly ideal when it comes to an FPS game. That being said, the developers of the Xbox 360 version of the game, Bluepoint Games, has recently taken to the Titanfall website in which they talk about the upcoming game.

According to the game’s senior producer, Daryl Allison, he calls the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall a “true experience” despite having to work on older hardware. ”Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions. The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great.”

Allison also acknowledges that there are some technical limitations and that the game would run above 30fps, although he did not mention what’s the average FPS we might be able to look forward to. It seems that the “true experience” is possible due to the way the game has been made, where Respawn Entertainment worked to ensure that the Xbox 360 would look as good as possible.

“There are of course some differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware – for example, the game runs above 30fps – but the experts at Respawn worked with us to ensure that all the intense, 6v6 wall-running, titan-dropping action is there.” Titanfall for the Xbox 360 will be seeing a release on the 8th of April which is a slight delay from its original release date.
