Watch-Dogs-Aiden-PearceIf you were planning on getting your hands on Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs, you might have already known that the game will be seeing a release on the 27th of May for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the PC, but what about the Wii U? Well thanks to a recent listing on Ubisoft’s online store, the game has been pegged for a Fall 2014 release, but no specific dates have been mentioned, but Ubisoft has since confirmed that to be the timeframe we can expect.

Watch Dogs was announced for the Wii U but chose to delay the game. According to Ubisoft at that time, the delay was so that they could focus the team’s resources that would ultimately benefit both their customers and the company in general. The company later reassured gamers that the game had not been cancelled and is still alive and well, but could not provide a date for the Wii U release yet.

In any case we guess we now have a timeframe to look forward to, but like we said no specific dates have been mentioned, meaning that there is a chance that it could see a release early Fall or maybe towards the end of it. We’re sure many gamers, including ourselves, would have preferred if Ubisoft launched it simultaneously across all platforms, but we suppose better late than never, right? Anyone else disappointed by this? Or happy now that we have a timeframe to look forward to?
