Microsoft says that Game DVR and Upload are two of the most frequently used apps on the Xbox One. Why wouldn’t they be, who doesn’t like to record epic gaming moments and later share them with friends and fellow gamers? Unfortunately, Upload only supported Microsoft’s OneDrive up till now, but that changes from tomorrow. The company has announced that Xbox One YouTube app will now support uploads, meaning that users will be able to upload Game DVR clips straight to their YouTube channel through the Xbox One.

Once epic gaming moments have been captured through Game DRV, they can be edited in the Upload Studio and then with just one simple click of a button in the YouTube app, can be uploaded straight to a YouTube channel. All this will be handled through the “My Uploads” section in the app.

Moreover, the update also improves the YouTube experience on Xbox One. Users will be able to watch videos in Snap Mode, add individual videos to their Pins, add YouTube channels to OneGuide for instant access to videos alongside TV listings or App Channels and they will also be able to earn Media Achievements. Xbox One YouTube app update will be rolled out starting tomorrow.
