A while ago we had heard rumors that Apple and Samsung were both planning tablets larger than the standard 10-inch display. Samsung’s alleged 13.3-inch tablet, “Warhol”, has been recently sighted, and now thanks to a photo obtained by Nowhereelse.fr, it seems that the image we are looking at above is the mockup for Apple’s rumored iPad Pro.
The iPad Pro is rumored to sport a 12.9-inch display, meaning that it is almost as big as Apple’s MacBook Air, and significantly larger than Apple’s iPad Air at 9.7-inches, giving them a difference in size of 3.2-inch which is pretty damn noticeable.
As you can see in the image above, the device looks huge, at least as far as tablets are concerned. It also seems to sport the same design as the other iPads, so it seems that Apple will be sticking with that design language for a while. Other than that, not much else is known about said device.
However according to rumors, the iPad Pro could be launched in 2015 and could even sport an UHD display, although we have to wonder if that seems more like wishful thinking rather than a feature that will actually make it into the device. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys think? Is that a little too big for your liking?
