backlightpanelSo far what we’ve seen about the iPhone 6 is mostly its outershell. Those leaks were spotted in leaked photos that are supposedly based on leaked schematics, and have also been used by case manufacturers to test their cases on, so there’s no telling how true or accurate those leaked photos are.

However today we got a new leak, this time a component of the iPhone 6 that comes in the form of the LCD backlight. The photos were posted on the folks at French website, Nowhereelse.fr and based on what we can see in the photos, it appears that it does share some similar traits to the iPhone 5s’ LCD backlight, namely in the design and the connection.

Although we should note that the connecter for the iPhone 6 has been moved slightly towards the left ,and the connecting pins also appears to be different, but we’re not sure if there is any significance to this. The image we can see above is also allegedly that of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, although there’s no way of telling just from the photo alone, although it does look bigger.

In any case do take it with a grain of salt for now, but this is one of the first few inner components of the iPhone 6 that we’ve come across so far, so hopefully additional photos will surface that can further help us determine some of the specs of the upcoming handset.
