There has been some chatter over the past couple of days that the gold Samsung Galaxy S5 might make its way to one carrier. Even though T-Mobile was one of the first carriers to announce its availability today, it has now been confirmed that the gold Galaxy S5 will be offered by all four major U.S. carriers.

Samsung Galaxy S5 in gold will be available for purchase in the U.S. from May 30th. Even U.S. Cellular is going to offer it to customers. Those who would like to purchase it from Verizon should know that the carrier won’t be selling it directly, however Verizon-variants will be sold by third-party retailers.

The company says that with the gold Galaxy S5, “technology and fashion collide” and prove that both fashion and function can coexist. It even suggests that this makes a great gift for the upcoming Father’s Day and round of graduations. That’s entirely up to customers to decide however recently there has been significant consumer interested in gold colored smartphones.

Color is the only thing that’s different here. Carriers will sell the gold Galaxy S5 for $199 plus a two year contract. Off contract the smartphone will cost $699 up front, like all of its other colors.
