nvidia falcon northwest 1If you’re looking to get yourself a brand new gaming rig, the folks at NVIDIA and Falcon Northwest have recently teamed up and created a one of a kind tower design that they will be auctioning off on eBay. The proceeds will go to the Philip Scholz Memorial Foundation and as it stands, the price on the computer is currently sitting at $5,200 with 6 days to go, so there is a chance that it will go higher.

For those unfamiliar with Philip Scholz, he used to work at NVIDIA before he was tragically killed by a train at the Santa Clara station while trying to rescue a man who had fallen onto the train tracks. According to the eBay listing, “We’re now auctioning this amazing system to raise funds for the Philip Scholz Memorial Foundation, honoring an NVIDIA brother who was tragically killed earlier this year when he heroically removed an individual from train tracks and was hit.”

The computer itself packs some pretty impressive hardware and will feature the NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan Black GPU which was announced earlier this year. It will be powered by Intel’s latest Core i7-4770K CPU, an ASUS z87 Maximum motherboard with 16GB of GSKILL DDR3 RAM, 2 Crucial 1TB M50 SSDs, and a custom designed Falcon Northwest Tiki chassis with a cutout window, and will also get full warranty coverage from Falcon Northwest as well.

NVIDIA also states that 100% of the proceeds of the auction will be going towards the foundation, so you can rest assured knowing that your money will be going towards a good cause. If you’d like to learn more or maybe even place a bid of your own, head on over to the eBay list for the details. So, any of our readers planning on placing a bid on this gorgeous and powerful PC?
