Oree Pebble 2 Is A Qi Wireless Charger Made From Wood/Marble

oree-pebble-kickstarter-chargersFor the most part, our electronic devices weren’t exactly designed to fit the interior design of homes. They all have their own unique designs and sometimes a futuristic looking smartphone might not go well with an interior design that has been designed to look rustic. Well if you’re looking for a way to make your gadgets blend in better at home, perhaps the Oree Pebble 2 is a Kickstarter project worth checking out.

The device is essentially a wireless charger for mobile devices and is powered by Qi wireless charging technology, meaning that if your mobile device is Qi compatible, or if you have a Qi compatible case, then you will be able to use the Oree Pebble 2 to charge it with. However the kicker is that the Oree Pebble 2 is not your typical wireless charger; what makes it so different is the fact that it is made from a single block of wood or marble.

Like we said, this will add a certain “natural” looking charm to your home, so if you don’t fancy black and somber looking electronics lying around, then the wood or marble finish could blend in with your surroundings. The device will also pack a speaker and microphone, thus allowing you to use it as a handsfree device for your calls as well.

Unfortunately due to the choice of materials, the Oree Pebble 2 is more expensive than your standard wireless charging device. For a pledge of $200, it will only net you the audio-only version, meaning that you can’t charge your mobile device with it. However if you were to add $25, you will get the whole package – speaker, microphone, and wireless charger.

We have to say that we love the natural look and elegance that the Oree Pebble 2 brings to the table, so if you’d like to get one for yourself, head on over to its Kickstarter page where you can pledge a donation.
