samsung-galaxy-s5-review-006Our smartphones these days come packed with amazing cameras, but which camera is the best? There are some of prefer their cameras to produce more saturated images, and there are some who prefer their images more natural so that they can edit it later. Some also prefer more megapixels while some don’t buy into the megapixel hype.

While it does boil down to personal preference, the folks at PhoneArena have decided to do a little blind camera test to see which phone comes out on top. They pitted the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, the Sony Xperia Z2, the LG G2, and the iPhone 5s against one another, uploaded their photos and had their readers pick which they thought was the best without revealing which device took which photo.

Interestingly enough despite the iPhone 5s being known as having one of the best cameras around, it only managed to place in fourth place with 16.83% of the votes. The LG G2, which is known for having one of the better low-light cameras, placed fifth at 14.98%. Even Sony with their Exmor sensor only managed third with 18.81% of the votes.

This meant that Samsung took the first spot with the Galaxy S5 at a whopping 30.4% of the votes, followed by the HTC One M8 at 18.97%. It looks like the Galaxy S5 is the clear winner with the majority of the votes, and we guess with the new camera technology Samsung introduced in the phone really paid off, but what do you guys think? Anyone else beg to differ?
