Samsung_Wireless_UpperIt can be pretty troublesome to share media if you only have one device in which it is stored. If you’re the only user, this isn’t an issue, but if there were a couple more people who need the files, passing around the hard drive could be a very inefficient way of sharing. Well this is where the Samsung Wireless hard drive comes in.

The device, as its name suggests, will be a wireless external hard drive. Thanks to its wireless connectivity, it will allow users to share the contents of the drive with one another – up to five users at the same time, to be exact. Users will also be able to access the hard drive via their smartphones, tablets, or computers, and it does not even require an internet connection for it to work.

The Samsung Wireless hard drive will come with storage capacity of 1.5TB, which Samsung estimates will be able to hold up to 720 movies, 375,000 MP3s, 425,000 photo, and so on. It will also be priced starting at $179 which is admittedly a little expensive, but we suppose that is the price one has to pay for the convenience and sharing factor of the device.

Unfortunately it does not seem like there will be a larger capacity available, so if you wanted more storage, you’d have to buy another device instead, but other than that we reckon 1.5TB should be more than enough for the average user.
