If you’re still rocking a HTC One (M7), which was released last year, despite its flagship hitting the market recently there’s good news for you particularly if you subscribe to Sprint. The carrier today rolled out a software update for its variant of the HTC One (M7). While the underlying build remains KitKat this update finally brings Sense 6.0 to the smartphone.

For those who don’t know Sense is the custom user interface that HTC slaps on to its Android devices. Sense 6.0 brought a laundry list of improvements this year and it has slowly been making its way to some previous HTC devices.

It was recently confirmed by HTC product manager Leigh Momii that the Verizon HTC One (M7) will also receive an update soon which will bring Sense 6.0. So Big Red subscribers only have to sit tight until later this week as that’s when the carrier is expected to roll out the update.

Bumping up the software version number to 5.03.651.3, Sprint’s software update for the HTC One (M7) also brings an updated TV app, camera gallery, Blinkfeed and Sense 6.0 as previously mentioned. The update will most likely be rolled out in stage so it may take a while before it becomes available across all markets.
