htc-one-review-4core-22If you happen to be a Verizon subscriber and are rocking to the HTC One (M7) still despite its successor, the HTC One (M8) having been released not too long ago, then here is some much needed good news for you. According to HTC Product Manager Leigh Momii, who made an announcement over Twitter, the HTC One (M7) is set to receive the Sense 6 update, with this particular Sense 6 update rolling out later this week.

Of course, both HTC as well as Verizon have come up and mentioned anything on their official channels, so it remains to be seen as to what this particular Sense 6 update will include, but we are aware that the unlocked and Developer Edition One (M7) models have picked up goodies in the vein of Extreme Power Saving mode and a “Clear All” button in the Recent Apps view.

According to HTC America president, Jason Mackenzie, he did mention in the past that the HTC One (M7) will also receive Sense 6 before May 2014 is over, so it is nice to see the deadline being met in this manner, although a slight delay in its release to ensure a non-buggy app is also more than welcome. Are you stoked yet?
