For gamers who are still playing Blizzard’s World of Warcraft MMORPG, we’re sure you guys are looking forward to the upcoming expansion, Warlords of Draenor. The expansion will not be introducing new classes or races, but it will still be a pretty significant update as it brings about new graphical improvements to the game, which is pretty old at this point in time.

That being said, the folks at MMOSite have managed to get a chance to try out the expansion in its alpha stages and recorded some gameplay footage of them playing in Frostfire Ridge. Just in case you haven’t been following the World of Warcraft news, Frostfire Ridge is a new starting zone for Horde characters in the game.

This is where Horde players will start at level 90 as part of their journey to hitting the level 100 mark. For Alliance characters, this will be in Shadowmoon Valley, but that’s a video for another time. The gameplay footage also shows off the changes that Blizzard has made to the user interface of the game.

This is not the first time we’re seeing alpha gameplay footage. Earlier this year, gameplay footage of the upcoming expansion was released, giving us a glimpse as to what we might be able to expect. Now for those who are particularly sensitive when it comes to spoilers, perhaps you’ll want to give this footage a miss, but if you’re not too fussed, pull up a chair and check out the video above to see the game in action.
