Back in 2013, we caught wind that BlackBerry had a couple of new devices in the works that they ultimately decided to cancel. The devices in question were supposedly that of the C-series, although since BlackBerry has yet to actually confirm the devices, we guess it’s really anyone’s guess.
That being said, thanks to newly leaked photos, the BlackBerry C-series has made its appearance online once again. We should note that the device in question has supposedly been cancelled, so what you’re looking at are most probably prototypes that were near completion, or for all we know, they could be fake as well.
In any case we can’t be sure of the specs since BlackBerry did not announce anything, but word has it that it packs a 4.5-inch display, 1.5GB of RAM, and a 2,100mAh. Needless to say it runs on BlackBerry 10 as well. The design of the device appears to be pretty simple and straightforward. There’s really nothing to shout or boast about, so there is a chance that it could have been positioned as a more affordable BlackBerry 10 handset.
Supposedly the C-series was cancelled in favor of the deal that BlackBerry made with Foxconn. So, what do you guys think? Could this have been a BlackBerry 10 handset that you wouldn’t have mind getting your hands on?
