Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm is still in its alpha stages which means that the developers are still working on bringing in more heroes and making changes to the game. That being said, if you’re lucky enough to have gotten in on the alpha, you might be interested to learn that Blizzard has announced that they will be bringing in Zagara, a Zerg hero unit, into the game’s technical alpha.

According to Blizzard, “In Heroes of the Storm, Zagara takes on the role of a Specialist who excels at infesting lanes with creep to aid her in pushing lanes. The creep gives she and her host of minions high mobility throughout the Battleground. This Broodmother of the Swarm is definitely a Zerg that you want by your side as you seek to conquer your opponents in the Nexus!”

The hero unit has a handful of abilities such as Baneling Barrage, Hunter Killer, and Infested Drop. It also has the Creep Tumor traits and Heroic Abilities such as Nydus Network and Devouring Maw. As expected with other hero units, there will be several Zagara skins/tints to choose from.

Unfortunately Blizzard has yet to mention when exactly will the game be released, or when an open beta will be taking place. However Blizzard has been known to take their time when it comes to the release of their games, so we guess we’d rather wait than be subject to a game full of bugs – what do you guys think?
