huawei-honor-6-launchEarlier this week, we did bring up the Huawei Mulan smartphone once again, citing that it is most probably a next generation Huawei Honor device, and since the last Huawei Honor handsets to roll out stopped at the number “3”, it is logical to assume that the Huawei Honor 4 is next. Apparently, we are looking at the Huawei Honor 6 aka Huawei Mulan to roll out at the Beijing National Stadium later this June 24th.

This particular bit of information was revealed by a teaser that Huawei distributed, citing the new name of the handset which will be called the Huawei Honor 6. There will be totally no elements from Disney here, never mind the Mulan codename, and it does look as though all indications point to the Huawei Honor 6 as a smartphone that is tipped to match up with two other smartphones from rival companies that are not yet in existence – the Samsung Galaxy S6 as well as the iPhone 6.

What do we know about the Huawei Honor 6 then? It has been spotted on an AnTuTu benchmark before, where details such as a 5” display alongside Full HD resolution will accompany the handset, in addition to 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 13MP shooter at the back, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box. A little bit of patience is required before June 24th arrives with details on its pricing and availability set to be revealed.
