Earlier last week, we did bring you word that the Nintendo Wii U will be getting what many would deem to be a killer software, a surefire ace in the hole, and that is none other than one of Nintendo’s intellectual properties which is known as the Legend of Zelda that will arrive in 2015. In fact, the gameplay trailer (that you can view above) for the game was nothing short of breathtaking – at least when we are talking about the weaker processing firepower in relation to the Xbox One and Sony PS4, leading some folks to wonder whether it was actually pre-rendered. The answer? All in the trailer happened to be in-game footage.

The game’s producer, Eiji Aonuma, has confirmed over Miiverse of its authenticity, saying, “Many people from the media kept asking me if the footage from the new Zelda game for Wii U is just a promotional movie, but that really is actual gameplay on Wii U. Also, I wasn’t kidding about how you will be able to reach the mountains that appear in the distance if you should choose to!”

What do you think that the subtitle for The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U will be? One thing’s for sure, if Nintendo lives up to their gold standard in the past, this game is going to be a treat when it arrives.
