Musicians are a creative lot, and if you give them an avenue to create music in a totally unique manner, then I am quite sure that they are more than willing to take up the opportunity with both hands without missing a beat. Having said that, the sonic possibilities that can be achieved by the Moog Theremini are virtually endless, being a re-imagination of one of the oldest electronic musical instruments around. Also known as Bob Moog’s first love, the Theremin, the Theremini will merge a powerful sound engine that has been derived from Moog’s award winning synthesizer, Animoog, alongside the traditional no-touch playing of a traditional Theremin.

With the help of assistive pitch quantization, each player can adjust the instrument’s level of playing difficulty depending on their skill level, and when one is at the maximum position, the Theremini is capable of playing every note in a selected scale perfectly, which would just about make it nigh impossible for a wrong note to be played. Set to minimum, the Theremini will then function as a traditional Theremin, where the analog heterodyning oscillator will keep the pitch in control without the need for any assistance at all. When was the last time you made sweet music creatively?
