motorola-assist-updateMotorola does seem to be on a roll at the moment, having made sure that their range of Moto devices would be able to enjoy some Android 4.4.3 KitKat goodness, not to mention the 2013 DROID collection of smartphones skipping the Android 4.4.2 bus and jumping straight to Android 4.4.3 KitKat, too. Why not cap off this good news with a “trinity”, with word that the Motorola Assist app has been updated to deliver the ability to announce incoming phone calls as well as text messages to the end user?

This latest update to the Motorola Assist app, as mentioned earlier, has one major difference after being updated, where all you need to do is provide Motorola Assist with your home address, turn on the “Talk to me” feature, and you can start taking full advantage of the app’s announcement capability.

In addition, the updated app will also deliver improved driving detection that can be achieved using the phone’s microphone while detecting both vehicle and road sounds. Motorola has also thrown some unspecified bug fixes to boot to help it be as stable as possible when used. For those who happen to own a Motorola Assist-compatible handset, you might want to check out the latest version of the Motorola Assist app here.
