Online video streaming giant Netflix has been appreciated a lot for its original content. It initially started off as a service that let subscribers watch movies, TV shows, documentaries and other content from a wide variety of partners. Netflix slowly moved into the production of original content that had budget similar to the content produced by big TV networks. It now sets its sights on reinventing the way people enjoy late night television. Netflix has signed Chelsea Handler to host a “Late Night” style talk show.

Ms. Handler ends her seven-year run at the E! cable network later this year, where she hosts the late night show called “Chelsea Lately.” She now has a comprehensive multi-year deal with Netflix.

Netflix makes its original series available for streaming online all at once so it will be interesting to see how it plans to deliver this new talk show. The company hasn’t revealed as yet how frequently the show’s episodes will be released but a spokesperson did confirm that since its a “topical talk show,” all episodes won’t be released at once since that would defeat the entire purpose.

Details about the show are thin right now. Early 2016 is the expected date for streaming to begin, hopefully we’ll get to know well before that what it’s actually called.
