samsung-galaxy-s4-review-042May I have your attention please – those of you who happen to own the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, here is word that the long awaited Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system update is now rolling out for your smartphone. After all, Nexus devices have begun to be on the receiving end of Android 4.4.3, not to mention the soak tests for the Motorola Moto X kicking off to boot. It is the turn for Google Play Edition devices to begin rocking to this latest update, with the now venerable Samsung Galaxy S4 being the first of the lot to do so.

The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will comprise mostly of under-the-hood improvements to security, stability, power profiles, as well as a slew of general bug fixes. However, some might point out that the refresh to the Dialer app UI is a refreshing one, but until the actual change log is released, we will only be able to make speculation about what Android 4.4.3 KitKat will offer in full for the Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. It remains to be confirmed as to whether there will be any form of hardware specific fixes or not, so stay tuned. If you happen to own a Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, have you received the update yet?
