gs5-mini-3It does seem to be a trend for flagship devices to arrive with a smaller version of an existing handset, and the Samsung Galaxy S5 is no different. While we have seen leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini in the past alongside being seen on Samsung Finland’s website, here is yet another set that pits it beside the full sized sibling.

From what we have heard so far about the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, it will most probably arrive with a 4.5” display, having a range of variants to suit possibly different markets, and have dual SIM capability to boot. Retaining the IP67 certification that is found on its full sized model, the Galaxy S5 mini will arrive with an integrated fingerprint scanner in the home button as well as a heart rate monitor that is located on the back of the smartphone.

It ought to run on a 1.4GHz Samsung Exynos 3 Quad (Exynos 3470) SoC, carrying 1.5GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8MP shooter at the back with a 2.1MP camera in front, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity, alongside NFC and GPS support alongside GLONASS and microUSB, among others.
