The Korean juggernaut is soon expected to unveil a new tablet lineup. Called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S all rumors up till now claim that two models will be offered with different display sizes. Apparently size will only be the differentiating factor with all other specifications remaining the same. We have previously seen images of the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 leak online and now we get to feast our eyes on similar images of the 8.4-inch model.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 looks a lot like its 10.5-inch sibling as far as design is concerned. Obviously that was to be expected. As previously mentioned the display size is truly what sets both models apart.

Its believed to have the same AMOLED 1,600×2,560 pixel resolution display as the 10.5-inch model with an eye-popping 350 ppi pixel density. Under the hood of both tablets an octacore Samsung Exynos 5420 processor is expected to be coupled with 3GB of RAM and support for microSD card. Android 4.4 KitKat will come pre-installed. LTE and Wi-Fi models will be offered.

Some of the software features that debuted on the Galaxy S5, like the Ultra Power Saving Mode, are on the cards as well. Samsung will also put in a fingerprint sensor underneath the home button. The tablets are expected to be unveiled at an event on June 12th. [Image via @evleaks]
