If you have been following technology news over the past couple of weeks you might have heard about Samsung’s upcoming tablets. The company’s two AMOLED tablets are expected to be unveiled later this month. Samsung has now posted a teaser trailer online for an event on June 12th, hinting at a possible launch of its new tablets.

The event has been titled Samsung Galaxy Premiere and is going to take place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Samsung is expected to show off the Galaxy Tab S lineup, a pair of AMOLED tablets differentiated only by their display sizes.

According to previous reports the two tablets will be offered in 10.5-inches and 8.4-inches with 2,560×1,600 pixel resolution displays. Under the hood Samsung’s own Exynos 5420 processor coupled with Mali-TG28 GPU is expected.

Along with 32GB of onboard storage the tablets are believed to have 3GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front camera as well as a fingerprint scanner in the home button. Ultra Power Saving Mode and ability to take phone calls from a connected phone are also rumored to be present.

The teaser trailer that Samsung has posted online is based on the “Tab Into Color” theme, presumably a hint that these new tablets will be offered in multiple color options. We’ll bring you all of the updates from the event on June 12th, so don’t forget to stop by then.
