samsung-spotifyThe Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom is proud to be the first device that enables Spotify Connect to stream music to more than two speakers at any one time. This is definitely a milestone to be celebrated, as it would be the first time that the service has been available on more than two speakers. This particular strategic partnership between consumer electronics giant Samsung alongside music streaming service Spotify would see over 10 million Spotify Premium users being endowed with the ability to control their Samsung speakers straight from the Spotify app. This makes the Samsung Wireless Audio Multiroom deliver stereo or multi room listening on the spot.

Eric Jung, vice president of the visual display business at Samsung Electronics, shared, “More than ever before, Samsung is giving consumers seamless ways to better integrate sound and music in their daily lives. We are excited to bring Spotify’s premium streaming music service to our Wireless Audio Multiroom ecosystem. It gives our customers more options to connect to and customize their favorite music taking the listening experience to the next level.”

In the first place, Samsung’s Wireless Audio Multiroom can already function as a standalone device, or to be used wirelessly with other Samsung devices, ranging from smart TVs to Soundbars, Home Entertainment Systems and BluRay Players over a Wi-Fi connection in order to create a multi-room audio system. These speakers happen to be controlled from a downloadable app. [Press Release]
