HTC-One-12

We brought you word last week that approval for the Sense 6 update for HTC One M7 on AT&T had been received and that a release was expected in the coming week. AT&T subscribers who have HTC’s 2013 flagship should start checking their phones for an update now. The much awaited Sense 6 update has finally been released for these subscribers. It has already made its way to the M7 on Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile.

The roll out process started about three weeks ago when Sense 6 was first released for the developer and unlocked variants of HTC One M7. Among the U.S. carriers T-Mobile was the first to get it, followed by both Verizon and Sprint. AT&T subscribers have had to wait for considerably longer but the update is finally here.

As always, expected the update to be rolled out in stages. This means that it won’t go live across all regions at once. It may take a while before it pops up on your M7 so patience is key. Coming in at over 670MB, the update brings a revamped camera and gallery, an extreme power savings mode, improved BlinkFeed and much more.

Now the HTC One mini on Verizon and AT&T remain. They have yet to receive the Sense 6 update. A timeframe is not known as yet but we’ll certainly update you when we come across one.
