warlords of draenorHeads up World of Warcraft gamers! If you were looking forward to getting your hands on the upcoming expansion, Warlords of Draenor, or if you were thinking whether or not it would be worth your time and money to renew your subscription, Blizzard has officially announced on its blog that the beta for Warlords of Draenor has begun.

Prior to this, the game was still in its alpha stages so for gamers who have opted in for the beta via their Battle.net account, you could be eligible for the beta. If you have been selected, Blizzard would have sent you an email confirming it, but if you haven’t, then we guess you’re out of luck, but hopefully you will get in to future betas.

The beta will begin at the new starting zone, the Tanaan Jungle, and will allow players to explore areas like the Shadowmoon Valley for the Alliance, and Frostfire Ridge for the Horde. Blizzard also announced that the beta will not be under any NDA, so this means that we can look forward to gameplay footage and screenshots from gamers who are participating in the beta.

The expansion is expected to introduce new zones, raids, instances, battlegrounds, and visual updates. Warlords of Draenor has been pegged for a release by the end of the year, so hopefully Blizzard will conduct an open beta ahead of its release. So, did any of our readers get into the beta?
