wpdang_lumia_830Heads up Windows Phone users, if you were particularly enamored by Nokia’s Lumia 820 from 2 years ago, how about its successor, the Nokia Lumia 830? While the device has yet to be made official, a recent photo has surfaced on Weibo that allegedly shows off the handset. Now we can’t be sure if the handset pictured is indeed the Lumia 830, so take it with a grain of salt for now.

According to the reports, the handset will be similar to the Lumia 930 in the sense that it will sport similar build materials. What this means is that users can look forward to an aluminum frame with a polycarbonate rear. Granted it isn’t fully aluminum which is what some users would have liked, but we guess it’s still pretty decent, and we have to say that based on the photos, it certainly looks like a pretty sleek handset.

Unfortunately not much is known about the handset for now, although some have pointed out that its camera design does look like the Lumia 1020’s camera, although we have to concur that it does seem unlikely that a mid-ranged handset like the Lumia 830 could sport a whopping 41MP camera that made the Lumia 1020 so unique.

In any case hopefully this photo is a sign that we’re getting closer to an announcement, so do check back with us at a later date for the details.
