at&t-lumia-635

Earlier this year in April Nokia launched the Lumia 635. Its a mid-range Windows Phone powered smartphone that was unveiled at Microsoft’s BUILD 2014 conference. The company’s devices have performed well in the mid-range segment before so it was natural to see Nokia try and replicate that success. First released in a handful of emerging markets the Lumia 635 landed on T-Mobile in the U.S. this month and it appears that AT&T might soon join the list as well.

AT&T had actually announced an “intent to carry” the Lumia 635 earlier this year so we knew that it was highly likely the carrier would go through with the launch, unless circumstances changed and it thought against offering the Lumia 635.

While the carrier itself has presented no updates on the status of this smartphone a render of the AT&T Lumia 635 has leaked online. The render has been leaked by none other than @evleaks, thus raising hopes that perhaps AT&T would soon formally announce the availability of Lumia 635.

This LTE-compatible smartphone offers a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quadcore processor with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. MicroSD card support is present alongside a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1,830mAh battery.

It is not known as yet how much AT&T is going to ask for the Lumia 635, hopefully we’ll know soon enough.
