We got our first in-depth look at Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at the E3 2014 in Los Angeles last month, it was there that the title’s official trailer was formally shown off to the world. Expectations and anticipation for this title is high and the publisher and developer behind Advanced Warfare is making sure to provide us with tidbits of information to keep the hype going. A new video has been posted online that particularly focuses on the game’s sound design.

The new video features the audio director at Sledgehammer Games, Don Veca, who goes into a bit of detail about the sound technology used in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to provide an exceptional experience during gameplay.

Veca says that the technology is intelligent enough to ensure that players are kept from “hearing the same explosion twice.” With the game that aims to let players see how the next generation advanced soldier works its almost essential that the sound feel natural at all times, nailing all of those effects would ensure that players get the best possible experience.

Do check out the video and see for yourself how much the developer has put into getting this right. I’ll reserve judgement until I’ve actually had a go at the game, though i’d expect it to be nothing short of amazing.
