destiny ghostAre you excited for Bungie’s upcoming game, Destiny? We know Activision is and if you are, you should probably pre-order it as the betas for both the PlayStation and Xbox platform are expected to kick off very soon. That being said, if you’re the sort of gamer who likes collecting limited edition versions of games or special editions, you might be pleased to learn that Bungie and Activision have revealed the limited edition and collector’s Ghost edition of the game.

Both versions will granted gamers access to the Destiny Expansion Pass, which is basically the game’s first two downloadable expansion packs valued at $34.99 if bought on its own. The expansion packs themselves will be priced at $19.99 individually, so we guess gamers will get to save some money there.

The limited edition Destiny will be priced at $99.99 while the Ghost edition will be priced higher at $149.99. Apart from being given the Destiny Expansion Pass, it will also give gamers the game disc itself, a SteelBook case, and exclusive in-game items. There will also be real-world items like a field guide, a star chart, and postcards.

The Ghost edition has been priced higher because it will come with a Ghost replica with motion-activated lights, along with the voice of actor Peter Dinklage. There will also be a letter of introduction included in the Ghost edition, and “golden age” relics like photos, stickers, and patch. So, which version of the game will you be getting?
