Character customization in games helps players to create a character that they feel truly belongs to them. Usually such customization can be found in games like MMORPGs where gamers can customize anything from facial hair, hair color, hair style, eye color, facial features, and etc. Basically it’s very detailed.

However what if you could customize your character from the inside? What if you could choose the organs in your character or even their cells? Would that be something you might be interested in? It does seem a little creepy but that’s apparently a feature that Bethesda is looking to offer their Elder Scrolls Online gamers!

Just in case you haven’t figured it out by now, it is a joke. Perhaps to bring attention to the Elder Scrolls Online game and maybe to parody gamers who spend countless hours customizing their character, Bethesda has teamed up with the folks at The Onion (a satirical website that publishes fake “news”) to create the video above.

Basically the video spoofs character customization and exaggerates it to the point where even the organs and cells of your characters can be customized. It’s pretty hilarious but seriously, what do you guys think? With the advancement in graphics technology, what other customizations could developers introduce to their games in the future?
