Samsung fans are no doubt anxious to see what features and improvements the company is going to make to its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 4. It is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 4 in September this year at the IFA conference in Berlin. We have already seen many rumors and leaks about this device and the latest chatter coming in from Korea suggests that the device is going to sport a metal build and that it is going to have a flexible display. A 16 megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization is also rumored.
This would be the first time that Samsung goes with metal for the Galaxy Note if this rumor is true. However that doesn’t mean Samsung won’t offer the plastic version as well. Rumor has it that customers will have the option to choose between two variants, one made out of metal and the other out of plastic.
I must warn you though, do take this rumor with more than a grain of salt. Before Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 it was rumored time and time again that the company will offer a plastic and a metal version. It only released the plastic version and no one knows for sure if a metal Galaxy S5 is really in the pipeline or not.
Galaxy Note 3 came with a 5.7-inch display and while the rumor doesn’t say anything about the size being increased, it does claim that the panel will be flexible. Samsung has reportedly increased the production of flexible panels as it gears up for the Galaxy Note 4’s launch.
Samsung hasn’t said anything about its phablet plans as yet so we must wait and see what it actually has to offer come IFA 2014.
